Our schedule was full of kite flying. @_@
It started an hour late, so I was toasting myself in the field, watching Garnet plus all other freshmen run around the field trying to fly their kites. I stayed mostly with James, Jethro, and Pardau.
A volleyball bounced out of nowhere and almost hit me on the head. No one came to claim it, and it had no name, so I used it as an improvised basketball :p
Early in the day, Sandro had stuck a bamboo twig in the ground and tied two garbage bag strips to it. Improvised wind vane. :-bd Only Garnet had one during the actual, graded kite-flying elims, and Sir Llaguno commented on that. :D
Our kite failed. I don't feel so bad; except maybe for the fact that I probably flunked an ES LT out of sheer laziness.
After eating, I helped with Jethro and James's group's reel. Their kite's nice; it's the one with red and yellow polyester sheets, which flew well before and after the actual competition. Malas. ><
After Sir Llaguno called the go signal at the finals, it was a wonderful sight. A dozen kites launched simultaneously in the air, slowly gaining height in a dance with the wind--they all rose at roughly the same time, the fabric flapping.. it hypnotized me until one of them fell. Srsly, kulang na lang background music, pwede nang music video.
But maybe that's just me. I had a decent view: from the top of the grandstand.Oo, sa bubong. >:P
I can't wait for tomorrow. We finally have an escape. Garnet, and Garnet alone. :D
Ah, ah. Last, before the moon image. I just wanna share this thing that a friend of mine in DCTP found. Here's to you, Akonyl.

Taken from near the GRHM. I suddenly stopped in my tracks just to take a picture. :)) It looks better now 'cause I didn't zoom as much.
